Character's Name: Kora Tanaku, but is often called worse than that.
Race: Human
Gender: I would guess male, but with how he PMSes all the time...eh.
Seme/Smuke/Uke: Uke
Age: 19
Hair Color: Black with a bit of brown mingling in there, shaggy with blonde tips. It hangs in his eyes half the time, and usually he can be seen pushing hair out of his eyes, or shaking his head frantically when he cant use his hands.
Eye Color: Brown. Very, dark, brown. But when he cries they're honey colored
Physical Description/Pic: Kora is very lean and thin, his mouth usually dropped down in a frown. He has small lips and a round, pale-olive face, borderline on being the color of ivory. He wears a lip ring and a tongue ring, along with a few earrings that no one ever sees, thanks to his shaggy mop of hair, spiking up in random directions. Kora has burn scars all up and down his back, some on his arms and legs, but the mainly visible one is a deep grueling slash right on his throat. He has long legs and boney hips, and is quite strong for his size.
Personality: Dreadfully sarcastic. He hates talking to anyone who doesn't have the common decency not to bother him while he's reading a good book, or interrupting him while he's spinning a story. The boy has a sickeningly sweet smile that he often uses when insulting someone's intelligence, and loves to get in fights. He has a quick wit and a sharp tongue, easily getting himself into situations that he really regrets finding himself into. To match his rude persona, at times he can be very sad, but when he is hurt by someone, he tries to hide it. Kora is saving the sweetness for someone really worth while, but if you break his harder outer shell, you might find a loyal friend and someone caring to talk to.
Background/History: He's lived many places, since, his parents like to travel. A lot. Their job demands it, after all. Kora never made friends, and half the time, he really didn't want them. He spent two years in Okayama Japan, before moving all the way to Mexico, only staying there for a week or two, before his mother, Carina, had picked up and dragged her family to Louisiana, where they lived for quite a while, until Kora found out that his favorite person in the world, his grandma, was kicking the bucket. The boy lived there for most of his teenage years, not only to escape an abusive older brother, but to learn what real parenting was like, and actually learning from someone 'completely sane' as he puts it. After the old woman had died, Kora recieved the house in her will, which is where he currently lives.
Likes: Strawberries, sweets, books, and doctoring
Dislikes: Dogs, loud noises, and anyone who talks about him being weak
Turn Ons: Biting, scratching, having his back rubbed... yeah xD
Turn Offs: Foot fetishes, crying, not truly being loved.
Quirks: He sucks his bottom lip into his mouth, bites on his nails, and clicks his tongue ring against his teeth. Oh, and he has a consistency to mumble to himself.
(Longer discription)
Basic Statistics at the beginning of the story, for two months or so.
Name: Kora Tanaku
Age: 19
Race: Humannnn
Hometown: Okayama, Japan
Current Residence: His grandma's old house in Nevada
Occupation: College, working on becoming a doctor specializing in respiratory problems
Talents/Skills: Kora is a great fighter, especially since he took Capoeira classes with a few older women in the small town that he lives in. He is good at helping people with their feelings, and even though it may not be considered a 'good' talent, he is pretty damn good at covering up his tracks, and has often thought of 'What if I needed to hide a body for some strange reason'. but he's not crazy. Not at all.
Family: An older brother, Cailen, who is an asshole at best and loves to hate his younger brother. He is a drunk, but has a silver tongue and can get himself out of any pile of shit he throws himself into. Carina, who is a loving caring mother, but horribly oblivious to what her son is going through, and if she does, she doesn't acknowledge it. It is rumored that she is also in the same state as Kora is. (Abusive relationship) Michael, Kora's father, also rumored to be a step father, but none the less, if he is, Kora had never met his real dad. Dark haired, German, can be strict and doesn't like outsiders, of course, favors Cailen more. I mean, srsly, what would a bad parent be if he didn't like the abusive son more?
Significant Others (describe relationship): Emily: Positively his bestest gal pal in the whole entire world. A shit load of her anger, rudeness, and hate rubbed off on him. She's always nice to Kora though, and keeps a VERY close eye on him, after all. She does think that she's his big sister. Emily has a kind heart. Deep, deep, deep, deep, deep (x357047) down inside, especially after hearing what happened to her best friend. At first they hated each other, but grew together happily c:
Jace: Kora has the biggest fucking crush on Jace in the universe, but thanks to psychological problems, even when he knew that the other had a girlfriend, he couldn't stop loving Jace. It put him in a terrible spiral of depression to know that he couldn't have the other, because in Kora's eyes, the boy was so sweet and kind, when really, on the inside, he never was. Most of the time Jace spent teasing Kora, tricking the boy into thinking that they would be together, but later on going off with Emily all over again. It was his cunning that turned Emmy and Ko against each other, but also the same reason they became such good friends.
His 'Grammy': She is the woman who he considered to be more than a friend and something short of a mother. Maybe it was the fact that she could never be stern with the boy, but Kora loved her more than anyone else on the planet. Amaterasu was always a lovely woman. As hard as she tried to be fair, she too, picked favorites. Her own will showed that much, at least. Not much is known about her except for her love for spicy foods, and making cookies.
Relationship skills: Sometimes, he can be really sweet. Especially when he sees that his lover his hurt or needs a shoulder to cry on. Kora gets attached too damn easily, and usually finds himself wandering into love affairs.

How the Character is Involved in the Story
Character's role in the novel (main character? hero? heroine? Romantic interest? etc.): Main character for some parts, secondary for others.
Scene where character first appears: Sitting beside a window, looking outside at his 'dying friends'. (Which are really plants. Ttly not insane)
Relationships with other characters: (Describe relationship with this character and changes to relationship over the course of the story).
1. Jace Robertson -- Jace was his first friend at his parents house. Kora had met him after having his older brother break his arm at a old hospital, whilst Jace's father was in for severe road burn. They talked on the phone for a while, and most of their close friendship (On Kora's part) died off when Kora found out that Jace, in fact, had a girlfriend. At the end of the story, he has a deep hate for the boy, but still, in the bottom of his heart, has specks of love that never really died off.
2. Emily Macabre -- In the beginning of the story, Kora was sure that no one could surpass the level of hate he had for his older brother, but Emily had done it. She was a rude girl, and took pride in that fact, and did whatever she could to piss Kora off or make him cry in front of Jace. After they spent the night together in the middle of the story, they became close knit friends, until the very end.
How character is different at the end of the story from when the story began: Kora was nice. Sweet. He was never mean to anyone, and the only problem he had was he was a bit shy and afraid of everything. But as the story progressed, he became meaner with a vicious hate, only fueled by the fact that nothing in his life, he felt, ever went right. Oh and, at the end of the story, he loses his voice. Forever.
